Chics Sonata is a daughter of Smart Chic Olena and is out of Sonata Starlight, a daughter of Grays Starlight. Sonata Starlight was a producer of over $53,000 in cutting and near $10,000 in reining with her first two Smart Chic Olena babies.

Chics Sonata was the high scoring mare at the 2006 Las Vegas Reining Open Futurity and was an Open Futurity Finalist at the Southwest Reining Horse Futurity.
