REFERENCE BROODMARES

The Haverty Ranch broodmares have been developed and selected
because of their popular bloodlines.
We have campaigned some of our broodmares and have proven
them as show mares. If unshown, they were chosen or kept because of their
excellent pedigrees or the fact that they are from a producing family cross that we feel
will enhance the marketabilitiy and excellence of their offspring. Our goal has always
been to keep our herd at a manageable number and offer the best product available!
Two outstanding show mares that gave us our start in the breeding business were Billie
Bar Flash(AQHA) and Cactus Christy(APHA). Although both are deceased, we feel
it is important to recognize them because of their major contribution to our program.

BILLIE BAR FLASH

Dam: Billie Bar by Easy Bill
As a young trainer, Clint learned a great deal showing Billie Bar Flash.
She earned $10,713.46 in NRHA competition and won the Limited Open Division of the NRHA
Derby in 1986. She earned a ROM in AQHA competition and was a World qualifier.
Billie produced 15 foals for us and 11 of them were NRHA money earners with offspring
Earnings of $44,464.13. She produced 3 NRHA Open Futurity finalists, all shown by Clint.
She is the granddam of our AQHA stallion Who Whiz It.

CACTUS CHRISTY

Cactus Christy earned 2 World Titles and 2 National Titles in Paint Reining Competition.
Additionally, she had points in Halter, Cutting, Working Cowhorse and Western Pleasure.
She held a Register of Merit in 3 events and a Superior in 1 event. In NRHA
competition, she earned $3075.06 and produced offspring with earnings of $72,455.67.
She produced 3 NRHA Open Futurity finalists and two Paint World Champions. She
is the dam of our versatile Paint stallion Mark This Spot.
