Collin Parker captured Senior Champion Heifer and Grand Champion Heifer with DB Southern Style 1\/553 in the Junior Brahman Heifer Show at the 2020 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo on January 27. Along with the banners and other trophies he was also awarded a very special buckle that was donated by JW Brahmans.<\/p>\n
Larry and Sally White, along with their son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Leiha White, were proud to have their ranch, JW Brahmans, sponsor the 2020 Fort Worth Stock Show Junior Show Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion belt buckles.<\/p>\n
JW Brahmans, located in Bryan, Texas, has worked to provide quality red and gray cattle that impact the industry in a positive way. The White family has a great history with the Fort Worth Stock Show and felt that it was important to work with the show for the Brahman Junior exhibitors.<\/p>\n
“We really feel like the Brahman youth are the future of our breed,” explained Sally White. “We feel strongly about supporting the junior programs and wanted to continue the tradition of having a special buckle for the Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Junior Brahman heifers.<\/p>\n
Sydney Anne Shout captured the Junior Champion Heifer and Reserve Grand Champion Heifer with Miss RH 257, a gray heifer sired by +BNA The Deacon Manso 253 and out of Miss V8 359\/7 Twin.<\/p>\n
The 2020 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo hosted junior exhibitors from across Texas competing for awards and nearly $39,000 in premiums.<\/p>\n
Exhibitors come from 235 of the 254 counties in Texas, representing both 4-H and FFA clubs in their counties and schools. The Junior Brahman heifer show is a combined show where red and gray heifers show together.
