It was so great to see and talk to so many members who came by the booth. It was a week filled with knowledge, friendships, and great Brahman cattle! A new set of officers and Executive Committee were elected at the Annual Membership meeting, and I am excited to work with everyone in positive ways for the advancement of the Brahman breed.<\/p>\n
We are back at the office and preparing for other exciting upcoming events including the 2023 ABBA National F1 Sale in Bryan, TX. This is going to be a sale you don\u2019t want to miss out on! Dr. Paschal, ABBA directors, members, and I will be attending the LIX Exposicion Nacional de Ganado Cebu in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico from April 11th to the 15th. The Asociacion Mexicana de Criadores de Cebu will also be celebrating their 60th anniversary! If anyone is interested in attending this event, please let me know I\u2019d be happy to help in any way I can. This is a great opportunity to make friends and contacts in Mexico.<\/p>\n

Howdy, from the ABBA office! As I am writing this, the ABBA staff and I are just settling back into the office after the 2023 International Brahman Show and Sale. There are so many people that make this event such a great success and an event that everyone in our breed looks forward to. I was fortunate enough to meet many of you at our ABBA Booth and look forward to meeting more in the future!<\/p>\n
The AJBA Board of Directors did an outstanding job for two days, the Female Show and Bull Show, working the ring at the International Brahman Show. These young men and women know how important this event is, and represented the Brahman breed exceptionally. I am extremely proud to serve for and with them! As you are reading this, we are wrapping up the 2023 National F1 Sale.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s event was held at the Brazos Valley Livestock Commission in Bryan, TX. I would like to recognize this year\u2019s sale dedication, Victoria Lambert and the staff at The Brahman Journal. Our breed is very fortunate to have this team of individuals that work tirelessly to promote the Brahman breed worldwide. We are especially thankful for all of their help in promoting the American Brahman Breeders Association events! Don\u2019t forget to mark your calendars for the 2023 All American National Junior Brahman Show from June 24th to July 2nd in Texarkana, Arkansas! This is a great event for ALL of our junior members, and I encourage everyone to attend!<\/p>\n
