\"\"Dakota Smith of Estherwood, Louisiana will judge the 2025 ABBA National Brahman Show November 4 \u2013 8 at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan, Texas.<\/p>\n

According to the ABBA, \u201cThis premier event brings together some of the breed\u2019s most elite genetics and provides breeders the opportunity to showcase and market their very best cattle on a national stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Smith brings a wealth of experience and dedication to this year\u2019s show. Growing up on a diversified livestock operation in Southeast Oklahoma, Smith developed a lifelong passion for cattle and agriculture. He competed on two highly competitive livestock judging teams during his high school and college years, achieving multiple top 5 individual finishes.<\/p>\n

Today, he resides in Louisiana, where he operates Smith Livestock Services, providing expertise in show and sale consulting, herd management and mating selections. He is also manager of Landry Farms in Morse, Louisiana. When judging, Smith said he likes to \u201cwork from the ground up,\u201d putting heavy emphasis on structural integrity and uidity, rather than pounds per day.<\/p>\n

Smith has judged across the United States, Mexico and Thailand, and he is listed as an approved judge by multiple breed associations.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have worked my whole life to establish myself in the industry and be accredited enough to judge a prestigious show like this,\u201d Smith said. \u201cI\u2019m honored to be the youngest person to ever judge the National Show.\u201d<\/p>\n
