On the following pages are lists of the top Brahman operations with the largest number of Brahman animals registered in the ABBA\u2019s Brahman herdbook during specific time periods. These lists were compiled based on data provided by the American Brahman Breeders Association. To present the data as accurately as possible The Brahman Journal combined all ranches with multiple divisions\/herd numbers on each list to the best of its ability. In 2017 the DNA requirement of the ABBA was changed mid-year. These rankings reflect the actual number of animals which had their registration process completed in 2017. The list of red Brahman breeders on the following page is a list of breeders that only breed for Red Brahmans. Breeders whose operations breed for gray and red cattle were not included on this list. To compile this list we referenced the ABBA membership category and used breeders that listed themselves as Red breeders first, then cross referenced with public record photos of their herds or contacted breeders directly. The International breeders list was compiled by referencing the breeders whose ABBA membership was in Area 14. This is an unofficial ranking that we create for the enjoyment of our readers. We apologize if anyone that should have been on these lists were not included.<\/h6>\n
