The Louisiana Brahman Association sponsored its 21st Annual F1 and Registered/Purebred Brahman Female Sale on March 23, 2019 at Dominique’s Livestock Market in Opelousas, La.
The sale played out to a great crowd and there was lots of demand for Brahman and Brahman-influenced cattle.
The sale grossed $279,000 with an average of $2,043 per head. The averages by lot type were as follows:
There were many quality consignments, but the champion pens honors were as follows: Champion F1 open pen was won by V-Cross Ranch, the Champion F1 Pair pen was won by D & S Cattle and the Champion F1 bred pen was won by Triple Son Farms.
