AJBA American Junior Brahman Association

Howdy everybody,

My name is Tess Homeyer and I am currently serving as one of your Texas Representatives on the AJBA Board of Directors. I live in College Station, Texas where I am a freshman at Texas A&M University pursuing a degree in Animal Science.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

TBJ: What has been your biggest accomplishments in your show career?

Tess: – My biggest accomplishment in my show career would have to be the 2020 TJBA Showmanship champion with my favorite calf Lydia. To me, showmanship mimics the time and effort that you put into the animals and the breed, so being awarded that was probably the best thing I have achieved.

TBJ: Tell us about your favorite calf!

Tess: – My favorite calf would have to be FDC Ms Lydia Manso 1/9, one that my family and I raised. She is the calf that helped me gain more confidence both in and out of the show ring. Lydia was the calf that helped me become comfortable around the people in the breed as well as other animals and I will always be grateful for that!

Always feel free to reach out to any of our officers or directors if you have any questions. We cannot wait for the 2023 All American and to see all of you there!
