The Brahman Foundation is excited to announce Emily Cooper as our Summer Intern for 2022. To date we have offered 8 paying internships which have helped with Summer Events, website updates, social media accounts and the yearly fundraiser, Funding the Future, held in December. Past interns have gone on to work for Breed Associations, started businesses, enrolled in Law School, and completed various Ag Industry Programs, but above all that, they have all continued to be great Brahman Advocates and Role Models for the junior members. Emily, welcome aboard, TBF is excited to have you for the Summer!
Thank You to our Past Interns: Shae Doucet Simon, Cheyenne Swoope, Drew Douglass, Kally Jo Felcman, Molly Smith, Kylie McIntosh, Ryan Beany and Anna Pickering.
Hi, I am Emily Cooper and from Pearland TX! I am currently ending up my Freshman year at Sam Houston State University majoring in Animal Science with a minor in Ag Business. I made it a goal to get more involved in the Ag Organizations offered at my college. I am currently a member of SHSU Cattlewomen’s and Block and Bridle. I have also been awarded a membership into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. I plan to pursue a career in Embryology after graduation.
I have been involved in the Brahman Industry for about 3 years and have been fortunate enough to meet so many incredible people during that brief time. I am beyond grateful for all of the opportunities that have come my way from showing Brahman cattle and being a member of the American Junior Brahman Association. It’s an honor to be chosen as the 2022 Summer Intern for the Brahman Foundation!
