AJBA American Junior Brahman Association

Hey everyone! I’m Klaire Fontenot and I am a current AJBA Director from Pine Prairie, Louisiana. I’m currently attending Texas A&M University majoring in Agricultural Communications & Journalism.

I have been actively involved in the Louisiana & American Junior Brahman Association for the past 10 years, serving on both the LJBA & AJBA Board of Directors. Being involved in the Brahman breed and the Junior Brahman Association’s has opened so many doors for me and given me so many new opportunities. It means so much to me to be able to serve our junior association. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!

TBJ: Who has helped you most in the Brahman breed?

Klaire: –  The people who have helped me most in the Brahman breed, is the Fontenot’s Red Brahman family. They were the ones who gave me the initial opportunity to show Brahman cattle and have forever impacted my life. Without their support and guidance, none of my success would have ever been possible.

TBJ: What is your favorite thing about the Brahman breed?

Klaire: – While the Brahman breed has many desirable traits & characteristics, my favorite aspect of the Brahman breed is the people that are involved in this great breed. These people will always support you & be there for you, whenever you need!
