The 2019 ABBA National Brahman Show week had numerous events planned for Brahman breeders and enthusiast to attend. On November 21st Judd and Gayla Cullers of Heritage Cattle Company hosted an educational field day.
They served breakfast and lunch at the event which was well attended. Francis Cullers looked great in her Heritage Cattle apron while she took care of everything in the kitchen.
Megan Cullers was on hand to assist in the Heritage Cattle Company Boutique where “Team Heritage” fans could buy all sorts of cool branded gear.
Judd and Gayla gave a fun and informative presentation about the history of their family in
the Brahman breed. After the history presentation Judd introduced the sponsors which included Lone Star Silversmith, MBJ Equipment, Audra B. Smith – Attorney At Law, Ranch House Designs, Schulte Farm Services, D&D Trailers, Slone Saddles and Dancing Pony Boutique to name just a few of the sponsors.
Before lunch was served Dr. Tommy Perkins took the microphone for his presentation. Dr. Perkins is an Associate Professor of Animal Science at West Texas A&M University. He gave an excellent presentation on heterosis and the value of cows fitting the environment for improved sustainability.
