The week of November 18 – 23 was packed with numerous Brahman events as Brahman enthusiasts from around the world congregated in the Sugarland – Rosenburg, Texas area for the 2019 ABBA National Brahman Show.
The 2019 ABBA National Show was coordinated by Reggie Rodriguez of the I’m In It 2 Win It Show Series, along with Charolette and Barry Smith of Bulls Eye Ranch. This team did an outstanding job coordinating the show and all the fun Brahman events during the week.
On November 20th the place to be was at the J.D. Hudgins Brahman Social. In the early afternoon breeders could tour the J.D. Hudgins ranch and visit with members of the Hudgins’ family.
When the sun was setting everyone made their way to Michael Goudeau’s house for a fun filled evening. Michael is part of the J.D. Hudgins-Goudeau Division and is well known for his great hospitality.
Great food, drink, music, photo booth and fellowship were all part of the evening. The homemade desserts were absolutely amazing.
Before dinner was served Coleman Locke, of the J.D. Hudgins-Locke Division, gave an overview about J.D. Hudgins’ history. His talk was followed by a presentation on feed efficiency by ST Genetic’s Director of Beef Support Services, Gustavo Toro.
Everyone had a tremendous time at the event.
