ABBA Registry moves to the Houston Office
Effective September 1, 2017 the ABBA Registry will move to the Houston office. This means that all work will be processed in Houston rather than Kansas City. All work to be processed and payments are to be sent to the Houston address. To accommodate the registry, the Houston office will move to a larger office space within the same building with a NEW Suite number as follows:

2017 ABBA Membership Convention, Sept. 22-23
The 2017 ABBA Membership Convention will be held at the beautiful Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida. Be sure to make plans now to attend by submitting your registration form, making your hotel reservations and being sure to see details on the opportunity to spotlight your ranch by becoming a sponsor!
This year’s Membership Convention will be held in the “Sunshine State” of Florida at the luxurious Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. This unique property has everything located under one roof! The ABBA has made reservations for a Golf Day for those members who would like to come early to enjoy the beautiful golf range with tee time starting in the afternoon. A Spa Day has also been arranged for the ladies to take some time to relax and enjoy the luxurious spa treatments they have to offer. Be sure to come early and enjoy these activities!
This year the convention will have a new twist, rather than sitting in a meeting room, presentations will be held on tour buses in between the planned ranch visits to Deseret, Kempfer Cattle Company and Chapman Ranch. Members will be learning about the latest technology and industry practices while touring some of the greatest ranches in Florida.
ABBA encourages all our members to attend this convention, it will allow for a great opportunity to meet and visit with fellow members in a warm atmosphere and venue. We hope to see you there!

Foot-and-Mouth Disease in colombia
Due to Colombia’s recent outbreak of Foot-and-Mouth Disease in Tame, Arauca, Cundinamarca, the Board of Directors of ASOCEBU met July 12, and by unanimous vote, decided the following:
The National Cebu Fair dates will change. The scheduled August fair will be held from November 29 to December 3, 2017 in Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia.
ASOCEBU will not guarantee any Cebú fairs for the next 60 days, starting July 10, 2017.
ASOCEBU suggests to the country’s health authorities to not accept any cattle shows for the next 60 days or until the health situation is better.
