Friends – As President of the COMCEBÚ Organizing Committee, I want to express from the bottom of my heart my gratitude to all those who made possible the resounding success of this great event, held in Veracruz last October.
What we lived through was not just a Congress, an exhibition or a livestock fair. It was the reflection of the love, union and commitment of a great family: the family of the Mexican Cebúista. This achievement does not belong to a single person, but to all those who believed, worked and dreamed together to make it come true.
• To the Board of Directors of the AMCC, represented by Oscar, Manolo and Wilbert: thank you for your trust, for believing in this project and for supporting the Committee with such strength and conviction. Without you, this dream would not have been possible.
• To Governor Rocío Nahale: thank you for recognizing the importance of the livestock sector and for trusting the breeders of Cebu. His support not only gave impetus to the event but also hope and projection to the Mexican countryside.
• To René Loyo and the entire Regional Livestock Union of the Central Zone of Veracruz: their enthusiasm, their commitment and their faith in this project were a constant engine. Thank you for opening the doors of your land and your heart to this great meeting.
• To the AMCC staff: Isabel, Mariana, Denis and Lesly – you were the soul of the operation. His dedication, his temper and his professionalism made the difference. Every detail well done was thanks to his effort.
• To the WTC team, led by Alicia Abauza: thank you for your impeccable coordination and for helping us to make everything flow with order and warmth.
• To the Technical Committee: my most sincere congratulations for your dedication and excellence. Thank you for putting the name of the Cebu livestock so high with your exemplary work.
• To the equestrian show team: Andrés, César and Severiano, their passion and commitment gave life to the arena. Thank you for exciting and surprising everyone with each presentation.
• To Engineer José Peña: his accompaniment from the first day was a sign of loyalty and love for this guild. Thank you for always being present, with the same delivery from beginning to end.
• To the specialized media: Ganadero, Cebu Mexicano, Agro Región, Desarrollo Agropecuario (Costa Rica) and Brahman Journal (USA) – thank you for helping us carry the voice of COMCEBU beyond our borders. You amplifled our message and shared our passion with the world.
• And, finally, but with a heart full of pride, I want to thank my daughter Fabiana. Your dedication, your energy and your love for this project were a constant inspiration. Through the Cebu Route you managed to connect with people, spread enthusiasm and make the COMCEBÚ live in the networks and in the hearts. Thank you, daughter, for being an essential part of this dream.
To everyone, thank you! Thank you for showing that when you work with faith, passion and unity, there is no goal that is too big. Today we can proudly say that COMCEBÚ was not only a successful event… it was a celebration of the livestock spirit, shared effort and love for what we do. Let’s continue to build the future of Mexican Cebu together. Thank you for making history!
