The International Brahman Research Foundation (IBRF)

The International Brahman Research Foundation (IBRF) is a non-profit organization designed to promote the breed and identify, sponsor and encourage research projects focused on improving the Brahman breed, with special attention given to carcass and milk quality.
This new organization is not affiliated with the American Brahman Breeders Association; however, it aims to support and compliment the association by providing funds to research projects that will progress the breed.
“We are looking to support practical research projects that can be done for under $10,000 that will make a marked difference on the breed,” Carl Lambert said. “There are about eight projects currently being considered.”
Like the Brahman breed itself, the IBRF will not be limited by borders, boundaries or language barriers in introducing and promoting the attributes of the American Brahman breed throughout the world.
The president of the foundation is Carl Lambert, Victoria Lambert is the secretary/treasurer, and Steve Wilkins, Jim-Bob Trant and Dr. Joe Paschal are board members.
The board members of the IBRF are excited to announce that a special semen tank lot will be auctioned off in the Southern Royalty III Sale September 30 at Satterfield Ranch in Palestine, Texas with all proceeds going to support IBRF projects. So don’t miss a chance to pick up some great genetics and support research projects designed to better the Brahman breed!
The IBRF is a 501c3 organization approved at the state level and has been issued a federal tax ID. Any money contributed to the foundation will be fully tax deductible. American Brahman enthusiasts looking to support the IBRF can contact Carl Lambert or email research@internationalbrahman.com.
