The Mexican Association of Zebu Breeders (AMCC) recently elected new leadership for the Brahman breeds. Luis R. Salinas Falcón of Rancho El Dorado was elected Red Brahman breed president, and Carlos Reyes Bolado of Ganadería Tres Mujeres was elected Gray Brahman breed president.
The AMCC registry herd books include animals of several breeds: Red and Gray Brahman, Guzerat, Gyr, Indubrasil, Nelore, Nelore Mocho, Sindi and Sardo Negro. Each breed has its own appointed president.
The AMCC will host the XXII World Brahman Congress in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, Nov. 10–26.
